The #1 Job Most Likely to Be Replaced by AI in the Next Two Years!

So I asked ChatGPT version 4o about the top 10 professions that could be easily replaced by an AI like ChatGPT. Interestingly, ChatGPT provided a list of 20 roles, but I want to focus on the top option, which ChatGPT believes has a 95% probability of being replaced by AI. Are you ready to hear it? It's the Data Entry Clerk.

Yes, this is the type of role where someone is responsible for tasks like organizing tables, extracting information from documents, and reformatting disorganized PDFs. Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT are becoming increasingly adept at these tasks. They can organize data in precise ways, generate lists, format tables, and organize content by paragraphs—often outperforming humans. Additionally, unlike human workers, LLMs can operate 24/7 without getting tired.

However, it's important to note that while LLMs can work continuously, using services like ChatGPT may incur additional costs. If you choose to implement your own large language model on your own GPU, you can mitigate some of these costs. Nevertheless, I agree with ChatGPT that Data Entry Clerks are likely to be replaced very soon.

I then asked which countries would be most affected by the replacement of Data Entry Clerks. Currently, most people do not use large language models, but in the next two years, this will likely change. Those earning money by copying data from one source to another are at high risk of being replaced by AI.

My recommendation to everyone in this field is to start learning new skills to stay relevant in the evolving job market. What do you think?
